Janie’s Stir Fry-

2 pounds beef sirloin or London broil cut into fajita strips

3 garlic cloves pressed and diced

3 table spoons yellow onion

2 tablespoons green onion

1/3 cup cilantro

Sprinkle of salt (lite salt or Sea salt)

¼ teaspoon black pepper

¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

½ teaspoon granulated garlic

¼ teaspoon granulated ginger

¼ cup rice vinegar

1/3 cup oyster sauce

1/3 cup cooking sherry

½ cup soy sauce

¼ cup orange juice

1 tablespoon brown sugar

1/3 cup water

1 teaspoon cornstarch mixed with water

1 package frozen stir fry vegetables or fresh vegetables such as; broccoli, mushrooms, water chestnuts, squash, bell pepper, green beans, snap peas, carrots, or any other  vegetables you like

In a 12 inch skillet on medium heat add 1/3 cup water and then add beef sprinkle salt and black pepper, cayenne pepper, granulate garlic, granulated ginger. Cover and cook  for 5 minutes on medium high heat. Then add diced garlic, onion, green onion, cilantro and mix beef well. Cover  for another 3 minutes then add, vinegar, sherry, oyster sauce, soy sauce
and mix and cover another 5 minutes. Uncover and add orange juice, brown sugar and mix. Stir in the cornstarch slowly while stirring. Then add frozen vegetables and cover for another few minutes. Sauce will thicken and vegetables will soften.  Serve with white rice. If you want to take the time to put in fresh vegetables then you have to add them sooner because fresh vegetables take longer to soften.
